Dr. Maria Gomez Albrecht is a results-driven marketer with 30+ years of strategic and tactical global experience in multiple industries. Her specialties include strategic planning, project management, brand and digital marketing, market research and analytics, communications, and multicultural initiatives. She has a proven skillset building action plans, managing programs with $30M+ budgets, leading multiple teams simultaneously, deploying enterprise implementations, and launching marketing and IT projects. Thanks to her multilanguage skills (she is fluent in three languages and business proficient in two more), she has led numerous projects and campaigns worldwide.
Maria holds two doctoral degrees in business (PhD and DBA) and has earned several professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Project Management, and Leadership. She is also a four-time award-winning professor, global speaker, and author. Her latest academic textbook is Principles of Marketing, which features a chapter on multicultural and sociodemographic consumers. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington and also teaches at the University of Texas at Dallas. Maria leverages her vast expertise to teach students fundamental competencies and prepare them for real-world clients.
For community service, Maria sits on the board of two nonprofit organizations. She serves as President Elect of the American Marketing Association DFW (2025-2026) and President Emeritus of Prospanica DFW. Maria is passionate about learning and teaching, traveling, family, and miniature schnauzers…and anything marketing!

Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the higher education community as a trustee for the University of Dubuque, a distinguished liberal arts institution in Iowa, and he currently serves on the board of the University of Iowa Marketing Institute, where he helps shape the future of marketing education.

Danny Monistere is a seasoned media research professional with over 35 years of experience, specializing in governance, permissible use, and policy and procedures within Nielsen’s National TV, Local TV, and Audio businesses. He has a strong background in data analytics, qualitative research, and operational auditing, making him highly adept at navigating the complexities of media research and regulation.
Driven by his commitment to the marketing research industry, Danny serves as an adjunct professor at Collin College. He teaches Principles of Marketing and Marketing Research, where he mentors and inspires the next generation of researchers, sharing his knowledge and real-world experience to prepare them for successful careers in the field.
